We are the Operations and Production arm of ESPN Marketing, producing a variety of advertising pieces to promote a full range of sports properties, shows, products and services to our fans Worldwide. We are responsible for developing, producing and delivering promos across media platforms to meet the needs of our marketing teams and serve the ESPN Brand.

This role helps support the needs of our Operations and Production team.  Working closely with Production Management you’ll have the opportunity to touch a range of projects by pulling footage, assisting with research, producing live action shoots, gaining experience in the edit room, producing, finalizing and trafficking spots for TV, radio and social media tune-in based marketing campaigns.

What You Bring to the Role:  

  • Related education in Marketing, TV Production or Media
  • Solid administrative skills and knowledge of creative development for advertising and promotion
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A passion and knowledge of sports, both professional and collegiate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, share ideas, and collaborate with colleagues

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • An interest in the creative side of sports marketing
  • Knowledge of the ESPN Brand
  • Ability to edit in a laptop system like Adobe Premier
  • Familiarity with music and pop culture trends for influence in the production of promotional materials
  • Strong understanding of a variety of marketing mediums (TV, social media)

Required Education:

  • Enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate student in an accredited college/university in the semester prior to the internship or graduated within the past 6 months.

Internship Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in an school/college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR graduated within the past 6 months
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Program Dates: The approximate dates are January 23, 2023 through May 12, 2023. Interns will work 40 hours per week and need to provide full availability throughout the internship.  

Work Environment: The position will be in person. The position will be based in either the New York City or Bristol, CT office with some local travel required. Interns must provide their own housing and transportation as well as provide a consistent work schedule. When working remote, the intern will require a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space.
