PAID Public Relations Internship Design/Home Furnishings/Luxury Real Estate DEADLINE TO APPLY MAY 9

Head & Hand PR (HHPR) is on the search for our next superstar intern to assist our team. We’re a boutique design, luxury PR firm that represents designers, architects, home furnishing brands, luxury real estate developments and more. Since we’re a small firm, our interns gain real-life experiences and learn skills that will aid in the development of their communication careers.

Interns will work with the team on around 5 client accounts. The scope of work with each tandem and client will vary in terms of wants and needs; however, throughout their time at HHPR interns will take on the workload of a junior staff member working on a range of tasks such as:

  • Building media lists
  • Writing and sending pitches
  • Assembling press clips
  • Preparing client reports
  • Drafting newsletters
  • Assisting in managing our social media accounts
  • Maintaining RSVP lists
  • Supporting client events on-site
  • And many more

HHPR aims to help interns develop and grow to their full potential as young professionals. We encourage all interns to express their interests early on and take ownership of client related projects, under guided supervision, to not only challenge themselves but also bring success to our clients.

Our firm is continuously expanding, therefore, this position has the potential for extension and/or growth. We guarantee this internship will leave you rich in experience.

Interested applicants should maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be a recent graduate or currently in their junior/senior year of college studying public relations, communication or marketing. Familiarity with Cision, Photoshop, and knowledge on social networks is a plus.

Applicants must submit a resume and cover letter, highlighting their area of interests whilst answering the question: Why are you interested in interning at Head & Hand PR? Any relevant knowledge such as Adobe suite, languages, social media, etc. should be included within their cover letter and resume.

  • This is a monthly, full-time stipend internship, for credit if needed
  • This is a remote internship, however the ability and availability to work in-person once a week at the HHPR office, located in NYC, is a major plus
  • Interns must have access to a laptop, wifi, and experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Interns must be available to HHPR for a minimum of 3 months
