Job Description

Program Details: We are seeking rising seniors who are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree to join an exciting 10-week summer internship experience starting June 6, 2022. As an early career professional, you will be part of a paid internship program that will include a robust learning curriculum, mentorship from employees in your selected field, access to senior leaders, and more. As an intern, you will be assigned challenging projects based on the area of the business you will be supporting. In your role, you will have the opportunity to contribute and make a real impact. 

Candidates must be:

A rising senior graduating in 2023

Able to commute to NYC

Available June 6th, 2022- August 12th, 2022

Condé Nast Entertainment (CNE) is an award-winning next-generation studio and distribution network with entertainment content across film, television, premium digital video, social, virtual reality, OTT channels, and podcasts. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with seasoned video journalists, producers, and other media professionals and gain hands-on professional experience as you own day-to-day tasks, contribute to special projects, and attend departmental meetings. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist production crews with content creation, video shoots, and post-production.

Research and brainstorm new content and develop pitches.

Maintain video equipment.

Work collaboratively with a team and contribute insights.

Read articles from the Condé Nast magazines and archives and write coverage for review by development executives.

Update and maintain status reports and slate grids. 

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Relevant academic, content development, digital video production, and post-production experience.

Interest in scripted and unscripted, digital and longform, content development, and production.

Experience with a variety of video cameras.

Experience and proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.

Experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.

Ability to research, report, and tell stories for a variety of platforms.

Sound journalistic judgment and awareness of culture, current events, and trends.

Interest in current events and emerging digital video trends.

Proficiency using Google suite, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms preferred.
