As Digital Intern, you will be responsible for creating content and managing the day-to-day social media execution for the Agency across various platforms (e.g. Taylor website, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube). You will be very creative and be able to develop a content for agency marketing initiatives as well as drive creative ideation, built on that strategy, for the agency’s website and social platforms.
You will work closely with the various internal functions such as Taylor Digital and
Taylor Productions as well as the Creative, Account and HR teams.
This is a paid, full-time internship beginning early August and will run through December 2017
What you’ll do:
Participating in creative brainstorm sessions
Helping identify and engage influencers on behalf of our brands
Defining monthly content within social for our brands
Managing brand communities in social
Learning how to use metrics to report on client campaigns
Using digital insights to bring new ideas to the team
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree (or internship experience) in digital/social marketing communications experience
Strong personal and professional knowledge and understanding of social media and digital marketing
Comfortable with and interested in using DIY tools to create quality content on a regular basis (short videos, memes, gifs, infographics, etc).
Strong collaborative mind-set; must be able to proactively address needs and work with colleagues at various levels of experience and location.
Strong ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail is critical.
Proactive self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly and express them in simple ways.
Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
Who you are:
You’re a college senior or recent graduate working towards your degree or have a degree in Communication, Public Relations/Advertising or maybe even Marketing and have a strong interest in digital and social media. Experience in thinking digitally within classwork, extracurricular activities and/or prior internships is requested.
