Wyndham Hotel Group is searching for a creative, energetic, dedicated Social Media Specialist. This position will assist with day-to-day operations of the brands’ social media marketing initiatives which may include, but are not limited to:
  • The development and execution of ongoing multi-platform strategies and content calendars for 15 well-known hotel brands including Wyndham Hotels and Resorts®, Ramada®, Days Inn®, Super 8®, Howard Johnson® and Travelodge®
  • Working closely with the brand marketing teams to ensure content is in line with each brand’s unique voice
  • Monitoring and reporting on Wyndham Hotel Group’s social media performance
  • Assisting with customer care and PR issues on our social channels
  • Playing an integral role in the creation of Wyndham Hotel Group’s social media center of excellence
  • Keeping the social media team apprised of trends in social media and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of the program

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in marketing, PR, or communications preferred
  • 1-2 years social media/community management experience in corporate or agency setting
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media and networking platforms
  • Experience with Sprinklr, Radian6 or similar community management platform
  • Personal passion for social media including experience on all major channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube)
  • Ability to think critically and work in a face-paced environment
  • Interest in hotel/travel industry
  • Graphic design, photography and video editing experience are a plus
