We are searching for a Social Media & PR Coordinator to join our growing Marketing team located at our corporate headquarters in Rochelle Park, NJ. The talented and creative person in this role will work with various team members to refine and manage all written content for social media channels, as well as product copy and marketing pieces for our brand. This individual will drive brand awareness and create customer engagement and traffic throughout multiple social media outlets.


  • Assist with development and execution of content for weekly social media calendars, including but not limited to photos, designed assets, text-only posts, videos and new media
  • Work with marketing and communications teams to develop, refine and implement comprehensive content and social media strategies that align with brand initiatives and marketing stories
  • Interact with customers to maximize social media reach while increasing engagement and followers on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube, Tumblr and any new channels
  • Research new tactics for achieving growth goals within and outside of existing platforms
  • Monitor and report on competitive advertising and industry trends within social platforms
  • Respond to customer inquiries and liaison with appropriate department on customer issues
  • Build and maintain relationships with bloggers and social media influencers in the fashion industry
  • Write blog posts for our Avenue blog
  • Research and write technical product copy for online assortment, focusing on features & benefits, fabric & care instructions, as well as, trend/style information
  • Enhance product visibility in natural search with SEO and SEM copy
  • Develop copy concepts for a variety of deliverables including online marketing assets, emails, direct mail, catalogs, look books and special projects & promotions
  • Maintain high standards for writing & proof reading while keeping consumer habits top of mind


  • At least one to three years copywriting and social media experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Experience managing social media channels and analysis tools
  • Great organization skills and strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of the fashion industry preferred


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
