Tourism Assistant Account Executive, Tourism Division, New York, NY
DCI is looking to hire a bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) public relations professional with one year public relations agency experience to join our Tourism Practice. Our clients are “places” – cities, states, regions and countries.
Support the development, implementation and analysis of public relations programs for travel destinations.
Junior level candidate with at least a bachelor’s degree and up to 1 year of public relations experience at a travel/lifestyle PR agency or DMO (or extensive public relations internships)
Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
Impeccable organization and eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment
Solid verbal and written communication skills in English/Spanish
Confidence and previous experience pitching media on the phone
Experience in use of social media platforms in a professional setting
