Publicis Healthcare Communications Group / NYC
The PHCG Corporate Communications team is looking for a diligent, motivated, and organized student intern to help with daily PR functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
o Track daily PHCG and agency media coverage using Meltwater service and create media coverage summary reports.
o Create media summary reports for M&A announcements
o Collect and organize creative assets sent by PHCG agencies including videos, print pieces, and other multimedia files. Upload creative assets to an online proprietary database.
o Upload creative assets to PHCG and Publicis Groupe distribution channels including the PHCG Intranet, PHCG website, and the Publicis Groupe website.
o Maintain various department tracking sheets such as media lists, internal distribution lists, publications/subscriptions lists, Awards lists, and the communications budget.
PHCG website and Intranet support:
o Audit sites for outdated information. Upload new information where necessary.
o Monitor for usability issues.
Research and analytics:
o Monitor traffic to social media pages, PHCG website, and PHCG Intranet to provide statistical reports on login trends. Where applicable, provide recommendations for increasing traffic.
Daily operational support.
The successful intern must possess the following skills:
Education: Minimum of a college junior. PR background/major.
HIGHLY organized and fine attention to detail
Deadline driven/quick turnaround on assignments
Good with numbers, good writing skills (writing sample required)
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) skills. Adobe Photoshop (desirable)
Prior work with CMS systems
Payment and Duration
Start time: Immediately. The qualified candidate may retain the position as long as s/he is an enrolled student.
16 hours per week when school is in session. 25 – 30 hours per week (summer).
$10 per hour
Must be a student majoring in PR. Ideally a junior this year or in a masters program with an end date of 2014.
